- AI Feature Data: When you use AI-powered features like the "AI Verse Explainer" or "Bible Story Question Evaluation", the text you input (e.g., verse reference, your answers to questions) is sent to our AI service providers (e.g., Google via Genkit) to generate a response. We do not store these specific inputs beyond what is necessary for the AI service to function and for potential short-term logging for debugging and service improvement by the AI provider.
- Usage Data: We may collect information on how the App is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our App that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. This is typically handled by Firebase.
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.
- To facilitate account creation and logon process.
- To provide and operate the Services: including AI-powered features.
- To manage user accounts.
- To send administrative information to you.
- To protect our Services: e.g., for fraud monitoring and prevention.
- To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users.
- For other Business Purposes: such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing and your experience.

- AI Service Providers: As mentioned, data submitted to AI features is processed by third-party AI model providers (e.g., Google). Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
- Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for backend services including authentication, database (Firestore), and potentially analytics and hosting. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they process.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. For instance, user authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication, and data storage uses Firestore, which have their own robust security measures. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

These may include the right to (i) request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability.
